- A yearly Premier Flag Showcase is planned for Super Bowl LXI week in Los Angeles, and the league is working with the architects Populous on a stadium built for flag football.

Why it matters
Until now the best flag players in the world played for national teams and in short events. A paid league gives them a season, and gives fans games to watch between world championships and the Olympics.
